Get to know us
Hi, I'm Coral.
I'm a wife of almost 29 years, a mom of two grown sons, a caregiver, a daughter, a sister, and - somewhere in that middle of all that - a crafter.
Coral's Craft and Print started about two years ago, not long after our family made a big move from Oregon to Oklahoma. Life had gotten heavy in ways I won't fully get into here, but the short version is: I needed something that was mine. Something I could pour myself into that could also pour something back.
Crafting had always been part of who I am. But somewhere along the way I picked up a laser cutter and a 3D printer - and everything changed.
A Life Built Around Family
Our home is a full one. My husband has been disabled for 13 years, and I'm his primary caregiver. We share a home with my parents, two of my siblings who also have disabilities, and our two sons. It's a lot of love and a lot of responsibility, all under one roof.
For six years, I homeschooled our boys. That experience - figuring out what actually works for different kinds of learners, building lessons from scratch, watching kids light up when something finally clicks, - is something I carry with me into everything I create. It's why our educational printbles exist. And it's why I'm quietly working on something bigger; a full K-12 curriculum series designed to be all inclusive, something I wished I had for my boys.
Why I Make What I Make
When we moved to Oklahoma, I knew I needed to find a way to help our family financially while still being present at home. I started small - just my laser cutter, a few designs, and a lot of trial and error. What grew out of that is a shop I'm genuinely proud of.
Every piece I make is made right here at home. The laser-cut wood art, the 3D printed figures and toys, the educational printables, the DIY craft kits, - they all start with an idea, usually one that came from my own life, my own family, my own need.
Crafting is also how I breathe. In a life with a lot of responsibility, it's the place where I get to just make something and see it become real. I think that energy shows up in the finished pieces. At least, I hope it does.
What's Coming Next
Right now the shop runs on my laser cutter and 3D printer, but that's only the beginning. I'm working on bringing in my crochet work, clay pieces, ribbon flowers, bead work, drawings, and original artwork - things I've made for years but haven't yet shared yet.
And the curriculum series is coming. It's a big project, but it matters too much to rush and too much to abandon.
If you've found this shop, chances are you're a homeschool parent, a teacher, someone who loves handmade things, or someone looking for a gift that feels personal. Whatever brought you here - I'm glad you're here.
This shop exists because our family needed it to. I hope something in it means something to yours.
Warm Regards from Oklahoma,
Coral
